ABOUT US

We are a lobbying and campaigning organisation.

It is imperative that we are at the decision making table when it comes to making policies that will impact on our community.

We believe we must have a voice when it comes to what we term as the "five pillars" that will create sustainable communities:

Housing

Education

Health and Wellbeing

Community development

Business

We pride ourselves as being one of the national vehicles that is driving home the importance of economic equality for Black people.

Working with "the powers that be" at a local and national level by influencing policies and procedures that will have an effect on our Community.

Aims and Objectives

  • To advance economic transformation and enhance the economic participation of people of colour in the British economy so we achieve sustainability.

  • Develop partnerships with community organisations, Voluntary organisations, government departments,  Citizens Advice and all other organisations who tirelessly work for community cohesion.

  • To recognise and celebrate the diverse cultures that make up Britain.

  • To ensure these groups of people are equipped with the tools to create sustainable communities.

  • To identify and support more programmes to bring young people together through sports,  education, youth forums, community projects, working with the Young people's parliament.

  • To disseminate ideas and good practice and other relevant information to other organisations in the UK.

  • To evaluate,  on an ongoing basis what effect if any the organisation's activities and deliberations are having on communities.
